These Naughty or Nice Wooden Door Tags are a simple Christmas craft that will decorate your door for the holiday season.
It’s time to start decorating the house with a little holiday cheer. When The Wood Connection sent us these wooden tags Melinda knew exactly what she wanted to do with them. Having little kids in the house means all through the December you get to remind them that Santa is working on his Naughty and Nice lists.
Melinda painted the tags a bright Christmas red and we used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out white vinyl “Dear Santa I’ve Been…” and a couple of snowflakes for one tag and “Naughty” and “Nice” with check boxes for the other. All of the words were made using the Santa’s Sleigh font. We painted two chalkboard paint squares and lined up the white vinyl squares up to outline them.
Melinda added a bundle of berries, pine branches and pine cones from Michaels to the top of the tags, tied at the base of the rope and it was done.
It turned out so cute and it looks good hanging outside or inside. For now Melinda has it hanging on a door inside and the kids get to check off Naughty or Nice each night before bed. they know they want it to say Nice on Christmas eve!
