Christmas Elf Craft
Decorate your house for Christmas with this simple Christmas Elf Craft!
Today I’m going to take a break from casseroles, cookies, and candies, so that we can talk about the uber-cuteness that is this Christmas Elf Craft! It’s got it all from paint to glitter scrapbook paper, and right now it is hanging out on my mantle giving the room a little Christmas cheer.

Thank you!You might recognize the silhouette from this project we did back in October. We had our thinkin’ caps on when we did our Wicked Witch Craft and we made it dual purpose. One side is Halloween, one side is Christmas. I mean, there is only so much room in the house to store holiday decorations. My husband already gives me the stink eye every time I come back from Home Goods or Michaels with a bag full of stuff. With this project I got two for one! 🙂
It was super easy too. I got the wood cut out from The Wood Connection (love that place!) and I painted the edges black. I went with black because the other side is a witch and I thought black with my elf would be less noticeable than red or green with the witch. It worked out perfectly and I don’t think it takes away from the finished product at all. Of course the adorable green glitter scrapbook paper pretty much make the whole thing.
I cut out the scrapbook paper to fit the wood and glued it down with Mod Podge. Then I cut out a few green polka dots to add to the hat. I think it was the perfect finishing touch!
I finished the shoes off with little brass jingle bells on the toes. They aren’t really elf shoes if they don’t jingle right? I can’t decide what I like more, this cute polka dot hat….or those jingle bell shoes!
I don’t know what I like more, those sparkly polka dots or the jingle jangle of those little Christmas bells. Santa’s little helper is definitely a snazzy dresser!
