It’s playoff season and every weekend has been all about football. Last weekend everyone came over to watch the game at my house and I pulled out all of the stops with some amazing game day food. The key to homegating is keeping things simple (but delicious!) that way the hungry fans are happy and I still have time to watch the game. I saved time by using some of my favorite Farm Rich products and I added a few extra ingredients to them to make Easy Pizza Skewers, Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers, a Cheddar Cheese Curds with 3 dipping sauces. My game day table was empty by the end of the party so I’d say they were a hit :).

I’d say my Easy Pizza Skewers were the star of the party. They were so easy to throw together, I just used a few of my favorite pizza toppings, salami, pepperoni, and bell peppers and stacked them on top of a baked Farm Rich Mozzarella Bite. If you’ve never had one Farm Rich Mozzarella Bites are 100% mozzarella cheese wrapped in authentic pizza crust. When you bake them the cheese gets all melty inside the crust and then you stack them with pizza toppings and dip them in pizza sauce you have pizza on a stick!

bacon wrapped poppers for super bowl party

My Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers have made an appearance at lots of parties and they are always a hit with the guys. They start with halved jalapenos just like everyone jalapeno popper you’ve ever had but instead of stuffing them with cream cheese you press a frozen Farm Rich Mozzarella Stick into each one and then wrap them with bacon and pop them in the oven. It’s pure genius (if I do say so myself). I prep the jalapenos and bacon the day before and then stuff the poppers and put them in the oven right before everyone arrives, 10-11 minutes later we have the best jalapeno poppers ever.

dipping sauce for cheese curd

Last but certainly not least are Farm Rich Cheddar Cheese Curds. They are made from real Wisconsin cheddar and they’re ready in about 10 minutes. They are crispy and cheesy and oh so good! I made three simple dipping sauces for them BBQ, Honey Mustard, and Dill Pickle. The Dill Pickle was my favorite with BBQ a close second.

Three Easy Cheese Curd Dipping Sauces:

BBQ Dipping Sauce – 1/2 cup BBQ sauce + 1/4 cup Mayonnaise

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce – 1/2 cup Honey Mustard + 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise

Dill Pickle Dipping Sauce – 1/4 cup Dill Pickle Relish + 1/4 cup Mayonnaise

Everyone had such a great time at the party, the game was good and the food was awesome.

It was the perfect way to spend time with friends and family on a Saturday :).
