Frozen Glitter Playdough
This Frozen Glitter Playdough is a simple but fun activity for kids that will keep them busy for hours!
It’s warming up outside and the school year is winding down. Soon my oldest will be home during the day and that means fewer Mommy-daughter days with my 2-year-old little girl, Harper. So, I planned a special day for us involving playdough, glitter, Campbell’s® Condensed Soup and Frozen.
Recently when we were at the grocery store she spotted a can Campbell’s® Condensed Soup with their new label, it has Anna and Elsa from the Disney animated movie, Frozen! If you haven’t seen it yet it’s available now in the soup aisle of grocery stores and wholesale clubs nationwide for only $1.79 per 10.5 oz. can.
Harper is crazy for anything Frozen. It’s “Let it Go” all day every day around our house. I know you all have a Frozen fan in your house so you get where I’m coming from. When she saw Elsa and Anna on the label she had to have that soup! I didn’t buy it for her at the time, I went back without her, and this week I surprised her with it, and a batch of homemade playdough, and told her we were having a Frozen day, just her and mommy. You may remember my playdough recipe. It is easy to make and so much better than the store-bought stuff. This time I made it in pretty Frozen colors and I laid out glitter for Harper to knead into the playdough to make it sparkly like something from Elsa’s snow palace. She loved it! Look at that face, she was in heaven.
About halfway through she informed me that she was ready for her “Frozen soup”. I warmed up the Campbell’s® Condensed Soup (chicken noodles soup her favorite!) and she took a little break from her glitter creations. She’s my good-eater and I’m so glad she loves the delicious, comforting, goodness of Campbell’s® Condensed Soup.
It was such a fun day. I know every mom feels this way, but she is growing up so fast! I really treasure these special moments we get to share together.
Of course she had to show her big brother what she made while he was at school so this weekend we’ll do it all again!
