Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips and a batch of my Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce are an easy weeknight dinner solution and make a great appetizer for tailgating or football parties!
Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce
I don’t know about you guys but my week has been crazy. My husband has been away at a conference and I’ve had to be super mom getting my son on the bus, running my daughter to school, then picking everyone up and trying to get homework done and dinner served before we headed back out the door to whatever sport was on the schedule that night. Needless to say I wasn’t spending my afternoons in the kitchen cooking up a big dinner. It was a Tyson crispy chicken strips kind of week and those crispy pieces of chicken with my simple Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce were a total lifesaver when it came to getting dinner on the table in a hurry. Plus my kids went nuts over them as usual!
I don’t know about you guys but in my house chicken strips are a fact of life. I have two kids with very different tastes. One is a picky eater and the other is a little more adventurous but at the end of the day the one thing they can both agree on is chicken strips. Since I’m serving it to my family I want to feel good about what I’m feeding myself and my kids. Tyson no antibiotics ever chicken products taste great and give me peace of mind about what I’m serving for dinner.
The people who make Tyson chicken products are dedicated to quality, and Tyson chicken is made with 100% all natural* ingredients (*no artificial ingredients, minimally processed). They also made a commitment to raise their chickens with No Antibiotics Ever. That means that no antibiotics were used in the raising of that animal. This isn’t just limited to Tyson crispy chicken strips. You can find a variety of Tyson chicken products, from fresh chicken to Any’tizers® snacks, in packages specially marked with a “No Antibiotics Ever” seal. So when you are at Target picking up groceries for the week keep an eye out for the label and feel better about what is, or maybe more importantly what isn’t, in the food you are feeding your family.
The kids aren’t the only ones who love crispy chicken so I find myself in Target weekly grabbing a bag or two of Tyson crispy chicken strips and/or Tyson® Any’tizers® popcorn chicken to keep in the freezer. They are a great solution for busy weeknight dinners and they make an awesome game day appetizer. Making wholesome choices for my family doesn’t stop there. When you’re snacking on Tyson® Any’tizers snacks while you watch the football game you’re going to want something to dip them in. Am I right? I make an incredible Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce that only takes 4 simple ingredients, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, honey, and vinegar. Just mix them all together in a bowl, cover it tightly, and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. That gives the flavors time to meld together and the honey and vinegar work together to take the tang out of the Greek yogurt. It also gives you just enough time to cook your Tyson crispy chicken strips! When they come out of the oven, the Homemade Honey Mustard comes out of the fridge and you’re ready to watch the big game, or feed your hungry family a meal that you can feel good about.
