Grilling season is here, this spicy Chipotle Burger and Zesty Potato Salad are perfect for a summertime dinner on the deck!
This weekend I was over at Melinda’s, the sun was out, and and we fired up the grill for dinner. Melinda and I both love grilling out in the summer. Usually her husband man’s the grill and the kids run in and out of the house bringing him what he needs while Melinda and I make the sides. On the menu this weekend was a spicy chipotle burger and zesty potato salad.
I’m a mustard girl, if the meal requires a condiment mustard is usually what I choose. My mom even makes me special deviled eggs with extra mustard in them because I love it so much. So, to go with our spicy burger I made a zesty potato salad with extra New Heinz® Yellow Mustard in it. Heinz Yellow Mustard uses 100% natural ingredients, including stone-ground mustard seeds and has a secret blend of spices and vinegar for the perfect balance of flavor and tang. It’s that tangy vinegar flavor that I love so much in the potato salad. I added 2 tablespoons of mustard to it and it was sooo good!
The burgers were the real star though. Ground beef mixed with, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder and onion powder, then basted with a smokey chipotle sauce as they cooked. OMG, that spicy smokey flavor was amazing. When the burgers were ready we topped them with a mango salsa and added some Heinz Yellow Mustard. You know when you forget to shake the mustard bottle and that first squirt is all water? No more soggy bread with the new Heinz Yellow Mustard formula! It is a thicker mustard that sits on top and it is in a top-down, squeeze bottle to prevent that first watery squirt.
I found my Heinz Yellow Mustard at Walmart in the condiment aisle right next to the Heinz Ketchup! It comes in in 8 oz., 14 oz. and 20 oz. sizes. It is also available at other major retailers nationwide. Make sure to grab it and some Heinz Ketchup to go with all of your favorite grilling recipes this summer!
