Simple fall dessert or side dish of fall apples baked in cinnamon sugar until perfectly tender.

2 Granny Smith Apples 1/4 cup Brown Sugar 1/4 cup White Sugar 1 teaspoon Cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon Salt 2 tablespoons Butter
Preheat oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Peel apples. Peel and core apples and cut them into thin slices.
Mix apple in sugar mixture. Mix brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and salt, together and pour it into a gallon freezer bag. Add apple slices and shake until they are thoroughly covered.
Layer apple slices. Layer apple slices in baking dish, one slightly on top of the other, until it is completely filled. Scatter the pats of butter across the top of the apples.
Bake apple slices. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve and enjoy with a scoop of ice cream on top!
