EASY PECAN PIE FILLING

1 cup Sugar 1 1/2 cups Corn syrup 4 large Eggs 1/4 cups Butter, melted 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla extract 2 cups Pecans, chopped

Step 1

Preheat oven. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 8″x8″ (2 quart) glass baking dish OR a 9-inch pie dish with non-stick spray.

Mix ingredients. Mix sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and pecans together in a bowl and stir until they are well mixed. Then pour into your greased dish.

Bake. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. Use a spoon to stir the filling every 15 minutes as it bakes.

Remove from oven. When the timer goes off remove the filling from the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes before using. You want the filling to have a consistency similar to a thick jam.
