Crock Pot Shredded Chicken

Crock Pot Shredded Chicken is a great way to meal prep your chicken. You can start your slow cooker shredded chicken in the morning and shred it in the evening for easy chicken dinners all week long.

Instructions

  • Add chicken to the slow cooker and sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour in chicken broth, adding enough to just cover the chicken (if a little peaks out at the top that's ok).
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
  • Remove chicken from broth and shred. 
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to use. 

Notes

Note: You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts if you prefer. You may also use water or a mix of water and chicken bullion rather than chicken broth.
