Dr Pepper BBQ Chicken Dip

Ingredients

BBQ Chicken Dip

  • 12 ounce Chicken shredded
  • 16 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce
  • 1 ½ cups Cheddar cheese shredded and divided
  • 1 ½ cups Mozzarella cheese shredded and divided
  • ¼ cup Ranch dressing
  • cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour cream

Instructions

BBQ Chicken Dip

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, bbq sauce, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir to combine.
  • Place mixture in a 8 inch skillet or an 8x8 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is warmed all the way through and the cheese is melted.
  • Drizzle Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce over the top of the dip
  • Enjoy!

Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce

  • In a saucepan, whisk all ingredients together until they are well combined.
  • Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, and then reduce to a simmer and let cook, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and it's ready to be used. If you are making it ahead of time, let it cool before placing it in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
