Chimichurri Steak

Chimichurri Steak is delicious combination of grilled flank steak and simple chimichurri sauce. It is a great summer grilling recipe for family dinners.

  • 2 pound Flank Steak can use skirt steak also
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • Chimichurri Sauce


  • Lightly salt and pepper your flank steak and let it sit out and come to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
  • Heat your grill to 450 F.
  • While the steak comes to room temperature and the grill heats up make your chimichurri sauce.
  • When the grill is ready place the flank steak on the grill and cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until steak reaches internal temperature of 125 F - 145 F. 
  • When the steak is done bring it in and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then cut across the grain, slicing the beef into thin strips.
  • Top with chimichurri sauce and enjoy!
