Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup Butter melted
  • 1/4 cup Hot water
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2/3 cup Flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ cup Dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Peanut butter chips
  • 1/3 cup Peanut butter
  • 2 ounces High quality dark chocolate

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a 9x9 inch metal pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cocoa powder and melted butter.
  • Add the hot water and mix until well-combined then let cool.
  • Whisk in the brown sugar and the egg until fully combined.
  • Stir in the flour, salt, baking soda, dark chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Place the peanut butter in a microwave-safe container and then heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it is a pourable consistency.
  • Drizzle the warmed-up peanut butter over the brownies in horizontal lines and use a butter knife to swirl into the brownies by dragging the knife through the peanut butter and brownie batter.
  • Top with chopped up chocolate bar.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let cool, cut and serve!

Notes

Note: If you use a smaller or larger baking pan you’ll need to adjust the time. A smaller pan will take slightly longer to bake and a larger pan will take less time to bake (it will also result in much thinner brownies).
