  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar

Sliders

  • 12 Slider buns
  • 16 ounces Sliced roast beef
  • 10 slices Brown sugar bacon
  • 3 ounces Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Brown Sugar Bacon

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Place the bacon slices and brown sugar in a bowl and toss together until the bacon is well coated.
  • Lay the bacon strips side-by-side on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes turning the bacon halfway through. Start keeping a close eye on it around 13 minutes to ensure it doesn’t burn.
  • Remove the cooked bacon from the oven and use tongs to carefully move the pieces to a flat surface lined with parchment paper or a clean baking sheet lined with foil. Lay it side-by-side to cool.
  • Once cooled chop it into bite-sized pieces.

  • Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a greased casserole dish.
  • Place a layer of roast beef over the bottom buns.
  • Top with a layer of cheddar cheese slices.
  • Finish with a layer of chopped brown sugar bacon.
  • Place the top buns on the sliders.
  • In a small bowl mix together melted butter, dijon mustard, sesame seeds, dried minced onions, and worcestershire sauce.
  • Brush butter mixture over the tops of the bread.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Serve hot.
