Ingredients
Raspberry Simple Syrup:

sugar

Fresh raspberries
Martini:
½
ounce
Raspberry simple syrup
½
ounce
Cranberry juice
½
ounce
Dry Vermouth

Gin or Vodka

Instructions
Raspberry simple syrup:
Combine ingredients in saucepan and use a spoon to lightly crush the raspberries.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Once simmering let cook for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour into a cup through a fine mesh strainer.
Let cool completely.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Martini
Add raspberry simple syrup, cranberry juice, dry vermouth, vodka, and ice to a cocktail shaker.
Shake together for 10 seconds.
use a cocktail strainer and pour the drink into a martini glass.
Garnish with fresh raspberries and serve immediately.
