Ice Cream Popsicle Root Beer Float

These quick and easy Ice Cream Popsicle Root Beer Floats are a must for any summer picnic!

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon Vanilla ice cream (you can use chocolate also!)
  • 4 Liters A&W Root Beer
  • Popsicle molds
  • Straws
  • Wide-mouth mason jars
  • Chocolate Syrup & Caramel Syrup (optional)

Instructions

  • Let the ice cream soften enough to spoon it into popsicle molds. Make sure the ice cream is packed tightly so there are no air bubbles.
  • Push a straw into the center of the ice cream to be used as the stick.
  • Freeze for 5-6 hours or overnight.
  • Run the popsicle molds under warm water until the ice cream popsicles slip from the mold.
  • Fill mason jars 2/3 of the way up with A&W Root Beer (add caramel and/or chocolate syrup if you like) and drop a popsicle into each one.
  • Enjoy!
