One Pot Turkey and Rice
This One Pot Turkey and Rice is ready in less than 30 minutes and filled with everything you need for a complete meal, meat, vegetables, and rice!
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 small Onion chopped
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- ½ tsp Garlic minced
- 1 c Rice
- 2 ½ c Chicken broth
- 3 c Cooked Turkey cubed
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper seeded and thinly sliced
- 1 c Peas frozen
- 1 2oz jar Chopped Pimento, drained
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, stirring frequently and cooking until tender, about 10 minutes.
Add rice, broth, salt, pepper, and garlic to the onions. Mix well.
Bring mixture to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cover cooking for 15 minutes.
Add green peppers, peas, pimento, and cooked turkey. Place the cover back on and continue to cook for 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
