Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas

Chocolate-Dipped Frozen Bananas are a delicious snack or dessert recipe made with frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with your favorite toppings.

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 cup Chocolate finely chopped
  • Your favorite toppings nuts, sprinkles, raisins, coconut, etc.


  • Peel the bananas and slice bananas in half width-wise.
  • Press a lollipop stick or a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana.
  • Place the finely chopped chocolate into a microwavable coffee mug and microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between each, until fully melted.
  • Dip the banana pieces into the melted chocolate. Tap the stick in the banana gently on the rim of the mug to let extra chocolate fall off.
  • Lay each chocolate-dipped banana on a baking sheet lined with waxed paper or parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle the bananas with your desired toppings and place the baking sheet in the freezer to freeze bananas.
  • After 1 hour place chocolate-dipped bananas into an airtight container and leave in the freezer until ready to serve.
