Baked Caprese Dip

This baked caprese dip is made with mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes, and leaves of basil all baked until it is bubbly and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Grape tomatoes cut in half
  • 8 ounces Shredded Mozzerella
  • 8 ounces Fresh mozzarella cut into cubes
  • 8 Basil leaves fresh
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Crostini to serve with it optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Lightly grease a small casserole dish or 8-inch cast iron skillet.
  • Layer ingredients into dish or skillet tossing ingredients slightly to mix them together.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve immediately with bread or crackers.
