Mexican Sunset Dip

This cheesy dip is filled with spicy chilies and chorizo.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz. Mexican Chorizo ground (you can substitute any spicy sausage)
  • 4 oz. Green Chilies
  • 4 oz. Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 c Pace® Original Salsa

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium high heat cook chorizo.
  • Drain grease from chorizo and add it back to the pan along with cream cheese, and green chilies.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Place cheese mixture in a 9-inch ceramic pie dish and smooth it out to cover the bottom of the dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Microwave on high for 2 minutes, or bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, or until cheddar cheese has melted completely.
  • Top with salsa and serve with chips.
