Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F for at least 5 minutes.
  • Divide the worcestershire between the two steak putting a little on each side.
  • Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over each steak (both sides) followed by the black pepper ½ teaspoon per steak on both sides.
  • When the air fryer has finished preheating add the steaks to the air fryer basket. The steaks can touch but they shouldn’t be crowded together. Depending on the size of your air fryer you may need to cook them separately.
  • Cook for 5 minutes then flip and continue to cook based on the temperature you would like to achieve (see notes on cook times).
  • Once done remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For rare - 6 to 7 minutes
  • For medium rare - 7 to 9 minutes;
  • For medium - 9 to 11 minutes;
  • For medium-well - 11 to 13 minutes;
  • To completely kill it - anything over 13 minutes (definitely not recommended!)
Tip: If you are cooking more steaks you can tent a piece of foil over the steak on the plate to help keep it warm until the other steak is ready.
