Ingredients

  • 4 Hot Dogs
  • 4 Hot Dog Buns
  • Hot Dog Toppings optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • While the air fryer preheats open your hot dogs and lightly pat off any moisture with a paper towel. Cut 4 shallow slits diagonally across the top of each hot dog.
  • Place the hot dogs in the air fryer basket with a little space between each.
  • Cook for 6-8 minutes depending on how roasted you like your hot dogs. (See Note 1 regarding cooking frozen hot dogs.)
  • Optional: If you want to warm your buns slightly remove the hot dogs at 6 minutes and then place the digs in the buns and place the buns back in the basket. It is ok if they touch. Continue cooking for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from the air fryer, add your toppings, and enjoy.

Notes

  1. To cook frozen hot dogs place the frozen dogs in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes or until heated through.
  2. Nutritional value does not include toppings.
