Notes

  1. Garlic sauce: Melt 4 ounces of salted butter in a saucepan or bowl. Next, add 2 teaspoons of garlic powder and a pinch of salt to the melted butter and whisk together. If you want to get fancy, you can substitute 2 cloves of finely minced or crushed fresh garlic in place of the garlic powder.
  2. Spicy cheese sauce: In a small pan melt, 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Next, add 1 tablespoon of flour to the butter and whisk together. Once incorporated, pour in a ½ cup of milk and stir together well then whisk in ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, and 1 tablespoon of finely diced pickled jalapenos. When all of the seasonings are added, stir in 8 ounces of American cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth. Serve immediately.
  3. Marinara sauce: Grab your favorite brand, pour it in a ramekin and heat until warmed through in the microwave.
