Ingredients

  • 6 slices Thick white bread approx. ¾ - 1 inch thick
  • ½ cup Salted butter softened
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Finely chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Start by mashing the garlic clove. Finely mince it with a large knife. Then turn your knife horizontally with the sharp edge facing away from you. Use the edge to press down on the clove of garlic and then pull towards you, mashing it into the cutting board. Do this several times over all of the garlic until it is a paste texture.
  • In a bowl combine the softened butter, garlic paste, and fresh parsley. Stir together until well combined.
  • Butter the 6 slices of bread with 2 teaspoons of the garlic butter on each side. Make sure to get the butter to the edges!
  • Place the butter bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees F. After 10 minutes flip each slice over and continue to bake for 5 minutes more.
