Place cream cheese, white cheddar cheese, ¼ cup chopped dried cranberries, chives, garlic powder, and ¼ cup finely chopped walnuts in a large bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer and mix together until all ingredients are fully combined.
Scrape the mixture from the bowl and form into a ball.
In a small bowl combine the remaining chopped walnuts and dried cranberries. Toss together until well mixed.
Roll the cheese ball in the chopped walnuts and cranberries until it is fully covered.
Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour or overnight.
