Ingredients
2tablespoonsSalted Butter
¼cupYellow Oniondiced
½cupMilk
1tablespoonFlour
5cupsCorn Kernelsfrozen, canned, or fresh
¼teaspoonSalt
1/8teaspoonGround black pepper
½cupHeavy Cream
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
In a small bowl whisk together the milk and flour.
Add the corn, black pepper, salt, heavy cream, and milk mixture. Continue to cook, stirring often, until the mixture begins to thicken. Approximately 5-7 minutes.
