Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Salted Butter
  • ¼ cup Yellow Onion diced
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 5 cups Corn Kernels frozen, canned, or fresh
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
  • In a small bowl whisk together the milk and flour.
  • Add the corn, black pepper, salt, heavy cream, and milk mixture. Continue to cook, stirring often, until the mixture begins to thicken. Approximately 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
