This Table Football Field Goal is a quick and simple decoration for a football party.
The other day we posted about the game day party we threw and today we’re going to tell you how we made that table football field goal that was the centerpiece of our food table. All it took was a quick trip to Home Depot and about 10 minutes to put it together and paint it.
Here’s what you will need:
- 2 – 16″ long pieces of 3/4″ PVC pipe
- 3 – 12″ long pieces of 3/4″ PVC pipe
- 6 – 3″ long pieces of 3/4″ PVC pipe
- 4 – 3/4″ PVC pipe “T”s
- 2 – 3/4″ PVC pipe elbows
- 2 – 3/4″ PVC pipe caps
- 1 – can of yellow spray paint
There is a tool you can buy at the hardware store to easily cut PVC but we had someone at Home Depot do it for us.
We assembled all of the pieces as pictured above and then took it outside and spray painted it a field goal yellow. Seriously guys, it took all of 10 minutes. Then we waited for it to dry and once it was ready we set up the table and had ourselves a Par-Tay!
It was the perfect decoration for our game day table and when the party was over we were able to take the pieces apart for easy storage. This is going to be making an appearance at parties for years to come, lol!
