Been married for 57 years and the easier the recipe with little clean up, the better. I make hamburger patties with sliced carrots, potatoes, green pepper, onion and shredded cabbage and grill for about 45 min.
If you are worried about cooking your food in aluminum all you need to do is put a layer of parchment paper between the food and the aluminum and then cook according to the recipe instructions. Enjoy!
Hey! These all look most fabulous! Question on the BBQ Chicken Sweet Potato recipe. It says sweet potatoes but the picture looks more like yams. Which is it? Many people mistakenly think they are one in the same but alas, they are NOT. They are from the same family but are not the same. Sweet potatoes are a light yellowish color, taste really like a ‘sweet potato’,and cook up moist. The yams, on the other hand, are orange, and have a more dry distinct taste.
Good question. This is not one of our recipes so I could not tell you for sure. If you click the highlighted recipe name link it will take you directly to the source of the recipe. Hopefully that will help answer your question.

I’d like to cook these foil meals in the oven. How to determine temp and cooking time?
Some of the recipes have an oven temp & time. I would say 350-400 degrees and keep an eye on it.

Looks great! Wonderful idea! Is there a way to not feel the effect of being cooked in aluminum foil!

Can these foil meals be frozen? If so before or after you bake it or grill it.
I would not recommend freezing them after being cooked. I would think they would have too much liquid after you reheat them.
