This easy pumpkin dip is the ultimate fall treat. It’s creamy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to prepare; you just need 4 simple ingredients and 5 minutes, making it perfect for holiday gatherings!

If you love pumpkin pie, and even if you don’t, you’ve got to give this pumpkin dip a try! I’m going to admit pumpkin pie isn’t at the top of my pie list. I’m more of a coconut cake, or pecan pie fan BUT this pumpkin pie dip is so good you don’t have to be pumpkin crazy to love it.
The best part is it is a no-bake dessert that only takes 4 ingredients and 5 minutes to make! Pair it with some graham crackers, baked pie crust dippers, or my favorite, gingersnap cookies, and you’ve got a dip that makes the perfect Halloween treat or Thanksgiving dessert!

Ingredients in Pumpkin Dip
- Pumpkin Puree – Be sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. Pick up a couple of extra cans and make our Easy Pumpkin Roll Using Cake Mix or Pumpkin Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
- Cream Cheese – This adds a creamy texture and tangy flavor.
- Powdered Sugar – Sweetens the dip without making it grainy.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice – A mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves, this spice mix gives the dip that signature pumpkin pie flavor.

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Dip
- Whip the Cream Cheese – In the bowl of your mixer combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar mixing until the mixture becomes smooth.
- Add pumpkin puree – Add the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice and continue mixing until the dip is smooth and creamy.
- Serve – Serve with graham crackers, gingersnaps, or baked pie crust cookies made from pie crust cut into circles and baked.
Pro Tip: Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature to ensure you get a smooth, creamy dip when you are mixing.

Best Ways to Serve Pumpkin Dip
Pumpkin dip is incredibly versatile and can be served with a variety of dippers. Here are some crowd favorites:
- Ginger Snaps: This is my favorite thing to serve with pumpkin dip. The warm, spicy flavor of the ginger snap cookies goes perfectly with the pumpkin pie flavor!
- Graham crackers: The sweet, slightly crunchy texture pairs perfectly with the creamy dip.
- Apple slices: Crisp, tart apples provide a refreshing contrast to the rich dip.
- Vanilla wafers: For those who prefer something lighter, vanilla wafers offer a subtle sweetness.
- Pretzels: A salty-sweet combination that balances the richness of the dip.
Serving Suggestions for Parties
For holiday gatherings, serve the dip in a hollowed-out mini pumpkin for an extra festive touch. Surround it with a platter of different dippers so guests can pick and choose their favorites.
How to Store It
Pumpkin dip can easily be made ahead of time and stored.
Storing in the Fridge
Store the dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. Be sure to stir it before serving, as some separation may occur.
Can You Freeze Pumpkin Pie Dip?
Yes, you can freeze it. However, the texture may change slightly upon thawing, as cream cheese tends to become grainy so we suggest making it fresh when you are ready to use it. If you do freeze it, make sure to stir well or put in a blender after thawing to restore some of its smoothness.
