I think we can all agree Pumpkin Pie Spice is the first sign of Fall whether it is the scent of it drifting from a pumpkin pie spice candle or that vente pumpkin spice latte you ordered before summer even ended ;).
The other day I went to make my first batch of Pumpkin Pie Dip as an easy fall dessert for the kids and I realized I was out of store bought pumpkin pie spice so I gathered up all of my ingredients and made my own! It was super easy and totally delicious!

- Ground Ginger
- Ground Nutmeg
- Ground Allspice
- Ground Cloves
What is the Difference Between Apple Pie Spice and Pumpkin Pie Spice?
These two spices are similar but apple pie spice has less ingredients. It tends to contain mostly cinnamon, with allspice, and nutmeg. Pumpkin pie spice has cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and ginger, giving it a slightly different flavor.

Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1 ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
- 1 ½ teaspoons Allspice
- ¾ teaspoon Ground Cloves
