The other day I went to make my first batch of Pumpkin Pie Dip as an easy fall dessert for the kids and I realized I was out of store bought pumpkin pie spice so I gathered up all of my ingredients and made my own! It was super easy and totally delicious!

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Spice:

Making your own homemade spice blends is easy. You gather all of the ingredients required for the spice recipe and then you mix them all together in a small bowl.

How to Store Pumpkin Pie Spice:

To store your homemade mixed spices place them in an airtight container like this or this and store them in a cool, dry place.

Whole spices can be stored for up to 2 years but once you grind your spices they have a 6 month shelf life. That’s why making your own fall spice is nice. You can make just the right amount to get you through the season!
