Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs
My family loved this easy recipe for Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs so much that we had twice this week! It’s totally delicious and it takes less than 20 minutes to make with the help of Cooked Perfect® Fresh Meatballs .
I like using Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs for weeknight meals because they are fully cooked and ready to heat. The Steam in Pouch microwave technology means I can have moist, flavorful meatballs in about two minutes. That saves me a ton of time on busy weeknights.

Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs come in 6 flavors, Italian Style Beef & Pork, Korean BBQ Beef & Pork, Sundried Tomato & Roasted Garlic Chicken, Italian Style with Parmesan & Mozzarella Chicken, Spinach and Feta with Parmesan & Mozzarella Chicken Meatballs, Taco Seasoned Glazed Beef and Pork Meatballs. For this recipe I chose the Cooked Perfect Korean Style BBQ Recipe Beef & Pork Meatballs. You may remember the Banh Mi Meatball Sliders I made with them awhile ago. They have a spicy sweet glaze on them with notes of gochujang, ginger, soy sauce and chives. Those flavors go perfectly with the simple pineapple teriyaki sauce I used for this recipe.
You can make Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs in a few easy steps:
- In a skillet, sauté your peppers and onions with a little olive oil until they are tender. Remove from heat.
- Heat Cooked Perfect Korean Style BBQ Recipe Beef & Pork Meatballs following the microwave instructions.
- Place heated Cooked Perfect Fresh Meatballs in the skillet with the peppers and onions. Add pineapple chunks, a little pineapple juice, and teriyaki sauce. Toss together until coated.
- Serve over white rice.
That’s it – 4 easy steps and less than 20 minutes from fridge to table! The pineapples are sweet with just a little spice which is perfect for kids. Mine absolutely loved this dish!
If you buy a fresh pineapple for the pineapple portion of the recipe you can hollow it out and serve your Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs in a pineapple bowl. My kids thought that was so much fun! But it’s definitely not required. A can of pineapple chunks works just as well.
How to make a pineapple bowl:
- Slice the pineapple in half from top to bottom.
- Using a sharp knife cut all the way around the inside of the pineapple.
- Cut the inner portion of the pineapple into segments being careful not to cut all the way through the pineapple. One cut down the middle and several across. Make sure you stop at the cut marks of our outer ring.
- Using a spoon scoop out each segment (save these for your Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs!).
That’s it! You have a pretty pineapple bowl that turns an easy weeknight dinner into something special :). Plus you can use the extra pineapple slices for dessert!
