These colorful Holiday Gift Tags are an easy way to dress up your holiday gift wrap!

These free printable Christmas gift tags are a simple way to add a little color to your gift wrapping.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I spent the holidays with my family and there was lots of turkey and pie involved! My sister and I also did some shopping and we got some great deals on Christmas presents. This is one of those good years where I know exactly what I’m getting for everyone and I’m so excited about what I came up with that I just want to give it to them right now!! I’ve gotta get those presents wrapped before the temptation gets to be too great, LOL.

To inspire me to get on the ball and start wrapping gift (my least favorite thing to do) I designed some new gift tags. last year I made these Deer Gift Tags.  I loved the simple lines and black on kraft paper look but this year I wanted to go with gift tags that were a little more colorful and playful. I can go one of two ways when I make my printables. Sometimes I create each element myself and sometimes I go to Graphicstock.com and see what they have to offer. If someone else has already done the work and it is exactly what you are looking for it seems silly to recreate the wheel!

graphicstock

GraphicStock is an affordable, subscription-based stock media site that gives you unlimited access to stock graphics, vectors, infographics and more. If you’re using Google to grab images, you may run into copyright issues.  GraphicStock solves that issue by giving you royalty free access to their vast library. You just sign-up, log in, and search for the graphics you are looking for. If you aren’t into designing your own printables you can download images that are ready to use as-is or, if you’re like me, you can download graphics and use pieces of them along with some of your own artwork to create personalized images.

I created my gift tags this year using PicMonkey and graphics from GraphicStock combined. It was so easy and they turned out super cute! I’ve made two sizes, large and small for you so they will fit any gift. I use a lot of bags so I printed mine out on white cardstock and punched a hole in them so I can tie them on with some ribbon. Melinda is printing hers on sticker paper so she can just peel them off and stick them to her packages. Either way they are a simple way to add a little fun to your gift wrap this year.

I hope you enjoy the holiday gift tags. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
