Where Can I Find Powdered Buttermilk?

You can find powdered buttermilk in the baking aisle of your local grocery store. It is usually near the powdered and condensed milk products or near the baking powder and baking soda.
What Can I Make With Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix?
Now that you know how to make homemade ranch seasoning you’ll never be ranch-less again! I use this for everything! I sprinkle it in soups, use it as a seasoning for meat and vegetables, quick and easy homemade ranch veggie dip, and of course good old ranch dressing. Basically anything that calls for a packet of ranch dressing mix you can substitute 1/4 cup of homemade ranch seasoning. Below are a few easy ways to use your homemade ranch seasoning.
- Ranch Dip – 1/4 cup homemade ranch seasoning + 8 ounces sour cream + 1/4 cup milk or buttermilk
- Ranch Dressing – 1/4 cup homemade ranch seasoning + 1 cup mayonnaise + 1/2 cup sour cream + 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Slow Cooker or Pressure Cooker Taco Soup – substitute 1/4 cup of homemade ranch seasoning for the packet of Ranch dressing mix.
- Roasted Ranch Potatoes
- Ranch Baked Pork Chops

Nice. A huge improvement on store bought ranch dressing. How long will it keep?
Stored in an airtight jar or container, this seasoning will last a long time. All depends on the freshness of the ingredients being used. I would check the expiration date of the ingredients and go by that date.
Does this mixture for the homemade ranch dressing have to be refrigerated because of the buttermilk powder?
No, buttermilk powder is shelf stable and not refrigerated.
Does this recipe have paprika? The picture does not show it but the written instructions does. The paprika changes the color of the mixture and is also different than the photo.
Yes the recipe does call for paprika though we mistakenly left it out when we were taking out pictures and it was still delicious. If you prefer not to use it you can skip it.
