We love our air fryer it is the BEST for heating up frozen snacks like pizza rolls and french fries (regular and sweet potato!).

Our kids love pizza rolls and I’m not gonna lie, so do the adults in my house. Making pizza rolls in the air fryer vs the oven has been a total game changer. It’s super simple to throw a batch in and they come out deliciously crispy every time.

They have now been added to our game day snack rotation along with a spicy batch of air fryer wings.

And what is a pizza roll without a good dip? If we’re serving them at a party of just making a quick snack or even dinner for the kids we have included three easy dip ideas that you can throw together as you fry up the rolls.

Ingredients You’ll Need

All you need to make frozen pizza rolls in the air fryer is one ingredient:

Frozen Pizza Rolls – Our favorite brand is Totino’s pizza rolls, but you can use your preferred brand.

Instructions

Here’s how to make these rolls in the air fryer.

Step 1 – Preheat the fryer. First, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F.

Next, place the pizza rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer with just a little space between each roll. Don’t over crowd them, you want a nice crispy edge all around.

Step 2 – Fry the rolls. Insert the basket and cook for 3 minutes and then carefully open the air fryer and flip the rolls. Continue cooking for another 3 minutes.

Finally, serve with your favorite dipping sauce. We have some good suggestions below.

Three Easy Dipping Sauces

We love to dip pizza rolls in sauces. We have three simple dips that we often whip up as these rolls are frying. And chances are good you already have most of these pantry staples on hand, so no special to the store needed.

Here are our suggestions for dips:

Garlic sauce

This tasty buttery sauce gives a nice burst of flavor to the rolls.

What you’ll need: Salted butter, a pinch of salt, and garlic powder

How to make it: Melt 4 ounces of salted butter in a saucepan or bowl. Next, add  2 teaspoons of garlic powder and a pinch of salt to the melted butter and whisk together.

If you want to get fancy, you can substitute 2 cloves of finely minced or crushed fresh garlic in place of the garlic powder.

Spicy cheese sauce

This cheesy sauce has a bit of a kick to it.

What you’ll need: Butter, milk (we use whole milk for best results), garlic powder, onion powder, diced pickled jalapenos, and American cheese.

How to make it: In a small pan melt, 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Next, add 1 tablespoon of flour to the butter and whisk together.

Once incorporated, pour in a ½ cup of milk and stir together well then whisk in ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, and 1 tablespoon of finely diced pickled jalapenos.

When all of the seasonings are added, stir in 8 ounces of American cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth. Serve immediately.

Marinara sauce

OK. This requires virtually no prep since it uses jarred marinara.Grab your favorite brand, pour it in a ramekin and heat until warmed through in the microwave.

What Brand of Pizza Rolls Did You Use?

We used Totino’s pizza rolls (this isn’t sponsored, we just like them!) they come in a few different flavors and you can buy them in small packs of 15 which fit perfectly in the air fryer for 1 batch, or large bulk bags of 50-140 for parties. Any brand works but should be similar size, if they are larger they will need a longer cook time.
