This bubbly Raspberry Martini Recipe made with Canada Dry Ginger Ale® is a fun party drink for kids and adults.
Whew, we made it through the first half of the holidays! I hope you all had as much fun with your families as I did. Now I’m getting ready for New Year’s Eve. I’m so excited because this year we are going out! We’ll be celebrating with friends and their families. Lots of kids running around trying to make it until midnight and parents trying to pretend we all aren’t usually in bed by that time…oh how things change!
I’m taking an appetizer and I’m bringing all of the ingredients to make Raspberry Martinis for everyone. It’s a fun version of a martini using Canada Dry Ginger Ale® and raspberry sorbet. I’ll be able to make it with or without alcohol so the kids can enjoy them too. I still remember how cool I thought I was when I got to drink virgin versions of my parent’s drinks at holiday parties. We’ll have a few mommies-to-be at the party too so this will give them something to toast with when the clock strikes 12 o’clock.
It’s going to be a pretty big party so I wanted a drink recipe that I could make a lot of without spending a fortune. Walmart always has Canada Dry Ginger Ale® on sale this time of year and it was a one stop shopping trip for me because I was able to find all of the other ingredients there too!
My raspberry martini recipe couldn’t be any easier Canada Dry Ginger Ale®, Vodka (optional), Raspberry Sorbet and fresh raspberries (for garnish). I’m going to mix mine up individually, “Shaken, not stirred.” (name that reference!) but if you have a big group and don’t want to play bartender you can mix it up in a big punch bowl and people can add the alcohol to their individual cup. I’ve made the recipe below simple to adjust for larger or smaller amounts. Either way it is going to be delicious!
- 1 part Canada Dry Ginger Ale®
- 1 part Vodka *omit for non-alcoholic
- 1 tablespoon Raspberry Sorbet
- Fresh raspberries for garnish
- Mix Canada Dry, vodka and raspberry sorbet and pour in glass.
- Garnish with raspberries.
I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year! Cheers!
