Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

OMG guys, these Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are life-changing! Seriously, if you don’t already have an air fryer you need to go out and buy one just to make them.

Fresh brussels sprouts are fried to get a perfectly crispy outside. You could stop right there because they are amazing, but to take them to the next level we tossed them in a lemon dressing with just enough red pepper flakes in it to give it a kick.

It’s an easy side dish that is ready in 20 minutes or less, and the best part is it’s totally keto so you can serve it along side some Air Fryer Pork Chops for a completely low carb dinner. I even dipped mine in a little homemade lemon aioli and it made them even better!

Do I Use Oil with the Air Fryer?

Air fryers don’t use oil like a traditional fryer where you immerse the item you’re frying into a vat of oil. You will still need a little oil to get things crispy though. For this recipe you toss your Brussels sprouts in a little olive oil before adding them to the air fryer to help get that super crispy outside.

How to Cook Brussels Sprouts in the Air Fryer:

  1. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large bowl with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and toss until they are coated.
  2. Add the Brussels sprouts to the basket of the air fryer and lock it in.
  3. Cook on 350 degrees F for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes remove from the air fryer and toss the sprouts so they shift around, then place them back in the fryer for 8 minutes more.

After the sprouts come out of the air fryer it’s time to bump up the flavor by tossing them in a simple dressing. It only takes a few minutes to whip together and it adds a ton of extra flavor.

What’s in the Dressing?

  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon Juice
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Red Pepper Flakes

Whisk everything together and toss the crispy Brussels sprouts in it and dinner is served!

If you want to add even more flavor make some lemon aioli to serve on the side. Dip your Brussels sprouts in it (and your pork chops if you made them!) …OMG…SO GOOD!!
