How to Make Big Mac Casserole
Step 1: Prep & Preheat. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Spray a 9×13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Cook the Beef. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 1 minute until slightly softened. Add the ground beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns. Drain excess grease.

Step 3: Season the Beef Mixture. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and continue to cook until the beef is fully cooked. Turn off the heat and stir in golden mushroom soup, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.

Step 4: Assemble the Casserole. Transfer the beef mixture into the prepared 9×13-inch dish. Sprinkle the remaining 4 ounces of cheddar cheese over the beef. Layer tater tots evenly on top, ensuring full coverage. Lightly spray the tater tots with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
Step 5: Bake. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Step 6: Make the Sauce. While the casserole bakes make the Big Mac sauce. In a small bowl whisk together all of the ingredients and set mixture aside until you are ready to use.
Step 7: Rest & Serve. Let the casserole sit for 10 minutes before serving. This helps it set and makes slicing easier. When ready to serve cut and top with sauce.
