Make these easy French Bread Pizza Sticks with all of your favorite toppings as an easy appetizer recipe for your next party!
Now that I’m getting older parties have changed a little. Now when we invite friends over to watch the game that means we’re not only going to be feeding a bunch of hungry adults but a pack of kids too! Pizza is one food that everyone can agree on. Who doesn’t like pizza?! I love making french bread pizzas because it is so easy to make a bunch of pizzas with different topping combinations.
It really doesn’t get more simple than this. Cut a loaf of french bread in half, add your sauce, sprinkle it with cheese, and then add your favorite toppings. When I’m having a big party I usually make a few standard pizzas ahead of time, pepperoni, cheese, sausage, etc. Then when guests arrive I give them other options and pop a few more pizzas in the oven. Personally I love goat cheese, artichoke, and bacon!
I think my favorite thing about french bread pizzas is how crunchy they are when they come out of the oven. Look at the crispy, crunchy bread, yum! Now, I’m telling you all about this as a party appetizer so when it comes time to serve the pizzas I cut the slices into strips so guests can fill their plates with pizza sticks but french bread pizza is also great for an easy lunch. My kids love it when I let them make their own pizzas!
- 1 loaf french bread
- 1 cup Tomato Sauce
- 3 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
- Any toppings you like on your pizza!
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Slice french bread loaf in half lengthwise.
Spread sauce on each half of the bread.
Sprinkle each side with cheese and cover with toppings.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

That’s it, a super simple appetizer (or lunch) recipe that is going to make everyone happy from the littlest kid to the biggest adult. Make it for your upcoming game day parties!
